Dream BIG!

I'm off to NYC in a couple of weeks, on amazing trip to train with the wonderful Terri Walsh.

I know, normal people don't go on holiday to New York to exercise six days a week, but I do.

I emailed Terri about an article she wrote (years ago) that really did "tell it like it is", we started emailing, became Facebook friends and she has been so kind and generous with her time & her talents that she has become a bit of a mentor for me.

So naturally I'm going to train with her, right?

Not exactly.

When she developed her Apprentice Program, I desperately wished that I lived in NYC, so I could do the program, work in her studio & learn from her 30 years experience as a trainer, or at least learn more about her amazing ART Method, but I'm a part-time trainer in Melbourne, have never been overseas by myself before and I'm somebody's Mummy... I couldn't possibly go to New York for two weeks, could I?

Something in my brain went "why not? why couldn't I? I can plan a trip, I can save money, I can do what I need to do to get there, why not? There's nothing stopping me but me."

In making that decision, my "New York Moment", so many fortuitous and unexpected benefits have flowed into my life. Working towards making my dream come true has been the greatest gift, giving me a sharpened focus on my business and my own training, and had me questioning why I don't do more of what I love in life.

It's taken five months, a shed-load of planning, saving & working out but my dream is about to become a reality.

What's your "New York Moment"?
